Yesterday, Councilman Dan Gilman spoke on issues facing Pittsburgh at a League of Women Voters forum in Shadyside. The event was hosted by the 1st Unitarian Church, and co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Greater Pittsburgh, the Black Political Empowerment Project, the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh, the Western Pennsylvania Black Political Assembly, and the Pittsburgh Justice Collaborative.

Voters asked question on the topics of affordable housing, the Pittsburgh Water and Sewage Authority, rapid transit and infrastructure, and the City’s fiscal health. Although, unopposed for re-election, Councilman Gilman still answered tough questions from the crowd alongside other City Council candidates.
